Big mouth Braden pitches a perfect game

26 Year old Dallas Braden threw the first perfect game for the A’s in 40 years. The last was by the great Catfish Hunter in 1968 against the Twins. He did it in 109 pithes and had six strikeouts. The last perfect game to be thrown was also against the Rays by Mark Berlehe last summer.

Braden is best known for yelling at A-Rod for running across the mound while returning to the Dug out. What really made him mad is that Arod shrugged it off like he was overreacting. First off he was overreacting, secondly if you are a 26 year old nobady you dont yell at the best player in the game. At the end of Bradens perfect game he apparently hugged his grandmother to which Aj Burnett watching in the Yankees Clubhouse yelled, don’t run over his mound granny.

Congrats to Braden for throwing a perfect game unfortunately it doesnt remove your label as being a loud mouth Douche. It just makes you a loud mouth douche that can pitch.

Youkilis, Porcello suspended 5 games for brawl

Five games is not even close to justice for the dirty play of Kevin Youkilis. If you can’t take it like a man and play the game right you shouldn’t be playing it at all. Now if Porcello had been flapping his gums at Kevin after hitting him it would be a little different. Not justified but not as  dirty as Youks actions were. Porcello was backing away and Youk went after him anyhow. Then he says he has no regrets for his actions. He should be suspended for at least 10 days if not the rest of the regular season. At the very least he should show some remorse for attacking another professional athelete. He’s Dirty and he should be punished not slapped on the wrist.

The Manny thing is no big surprise to anyone being that he just came off a 50 day suspension for it. But the David Ortiz thing is a bit more intriguing.

Ok the first thing that I find Helarious is when he says the announcement that he tested positive blindsided him . Then he went on to say “I want to talk about this situation and I will as soon as I have more answers. In the meantime I want to let you know how I am approaching this situation. One, I have already contacted the Players Association to confirm if this report is true. I have just been told that the report is true. Based on the way I have lived my life, I am surprised to learn I tested positive.”Two, I will find out what I tested positive for. And, three, based on whatever I learn, I will share this information with my club and the public. You know me — I will not hide and I will not make excuses.”

Ok MR. Papi if you want to keep it real here is my one, two , three of it all . One the only thing you are shocked about is that the report ever came out. Two, you know what you tested positive for because you were the dummy who took it, Three, don’t stand there and insult everyones intelligence by acting all surprised and saying you that you wont hide anything or make excuses. Seems to me you have already been hiding the fact that you cheated for six years.

Ok A-rod did the whole I never used steroids thing for a while and it was a lie. We all get it, but at least when he was caught he came clean and said what he did when he did it how he did it and for how long he did it. David Ortiz is gonna stand there and say  What?, I tested positive for drugs, Let me go find out if its true, than let me find out what i tested positive for. BLAH BLAH BLAH. Bottom line you cheated because you sucked. Hell you were non -tendered by the Twins because you sucked so bad. Then suddenly you became this great power hitter. Than the heat was a bit to much so you stopped taking them. Now you suck again. Don’t insult us your fans by deceiving  them ,they are to smart for that. Come clean about the drugs and come clean about being surprised about the drugs. When Jose Consaco was asked for a comment he simply said” Tell me something I didn’t already know”

Report: Glavine may file grievance after release

The thought that this was about anything else besides money is ludicrous. He was pitching great in his rehab assignments not having allowed an earned run. Them saying that they thought his comeback was unsuccessful doesn’t stand weight against the actual stats of his rehab games which were fantastic. These money hungry whores that I used to route for have gone to far and I hope that Tommy Glavin sticks it to them.

As Tom Glavine and the BTFP readers can see. Mike and Genevosey both have Tom’s back. The Atlanta Braves are Money Whores and they have disgusted us so much today we both wrote about Tom’s dilemma at the same time.

Tom we both hope some team signs you soon, hopefully in the NL east so you can rub their greedy faces in it with a no hitter.
