I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am beyond pumped for the playoffs to start.

I feel like Cartman waiting for his Nintendo Wii.

But Mommm!!!!

But Mommm!!!!

I am kind of surprised Girardi kept three catchers on the roster, but I guess it’s just insurance since Posada and Molina are both old.  Speaking of those catchers, I am glad they have chosen to have Molina catch Burnett.  Remember, defense and pitching win championships and we all know how important Burnett will be this postseason.  If he is on, he is un-hittable, and he has pitched very well when Molina is behind the dish.

Congrats to the Twins for winning a thrilling game, but they are no match for the Yankees.

Keys for the Yanks:

Alex Rodriguez- He needs to keep his head straightened on right this year.  Although the bombers have an excellent lineup, they need him to produce.

Joba Chamberlain- If he can be anything near what he was out of the pen a couple years ago, the games will be over after the sixth inning, just like they were when Stanton and Nelson were setting up Rivera, or when Rivera set up Wetteland.

Prediction: A-Rod breaks out of his playoff slump with a huge series; expect a couple of dingers from him.  The Yankees will win in three and get to wait for the Red Sox and Angels to finish beating the crap out of each other.

Normally I try to stay objective, but…..
